I enjoy your work, Katrine. I think that one answer to the hydra-esque problem comes in the form of Regulation Crowdfunding - if a founder can raise capital from their peers in an equitable way, they won't be subject to the pressures of VC investors to grow and profit at all costs. Regulation Crowdfunding also lends itself to having values-aligned investors who, for example, would support the business in paying living wages to all employees. Regulation Crowdfunding is one way that we can empower the change we want to see in the world. I particularly appreciate the platforms - like Crowdfund Main Street - that are dedicated to supporting mission-driven businesses.
